engagedSession: Rachel and Jackie {partOne}

Rachel and Jackie met up to do an engagement session for their upcoming June wedding.  This will be part 1 of two sessions and I already can’t wait to get to the next session because these guys are awesome to shoot.  We had a great time starting at the TSYS campus (where I work), and then moved across the river to Phenix City on the riverwalk.  And then finally ended at an absolutely gorgeous spot where the light was like butter… so smooth and soft.

So the cool thing about Rachel and Jackie is that I knew both of them before they met and I wasn’t the one that introduced them (they met in a class at Columbus State).  Jackie has been a friend of mine since High School and Rachel was in the youth group at Morningside Baptist when I led youth worship there.  How shocking it was when I found out that they were dating.  And now they’re engaged to be married.  I’m so happy for them b/c they really seem like they are just wonderful together.

So here are a few shots from Rachel and Jackie’s engagedSession (partOne):

So today, I met up with Rachel and Jackie to shoot their engagedSession. I don’t know about them but I had a blast shooting these pictures. They were so much fun to hang out with. Can’t wait for their wedding in June.

Here’s a sneak of the session. More to come shortly.

Jadon at the Playground

About a month ago, Shalon and I decided to take Jadon to Idle Hour Park which is a small park with a playground and lake with geese.  Of course I wasn’t going to leave the camera at home.. :)

So here is a quick video that I put together of his little ‘outing’ at the lake and playground.
