Ramsay and Doug

Shalon’s cousin Christie has a friend of hers that is getting married. Well, they actually had the wedding planned on the same day as another wedding that I was shooting so I was not able to book them for the wedding, but they wanted some nice shots of them in full wedding day gear. So we decided to meet up on the Thursday before the wedding and take some nice shots down by the riverwalk. It was a pretty warm day even though we decided to wait till evening right before sundown. It just gets so hot and muggy around here.

So we shot for about an hour and got some pretty nice images that they will be able to keep for a long time to remember this time in there lives. Check out the slideshow.

Rachel’s Bridal Portraits

Rachel is an absolutely beautiful bride.  And I have the pictures to prove it.  This past weekend, she tied the knot with Justin.  The wedding was awesome.  Start in Phenix City at the Epworth United Methodist Church off of Hwy 280, followed it with a quick trip to the riverwalk, then over the river to Columbus to a wonderful reception at the W.C. Bradley art gallery, and then ended it with a nice little trip around the downtown area on a horse carriage.

For Rachel’s bridal pictures, I met her and her mother, Janie, down by the Coca Cola Space Science Center. I had a blast hanging out with Rachel and her mom.  They are both so down to earth and really fun to be around.  Take a look at this slideshow of the images I took of Rachel.  As for the wedding, I should have those finished soon and posted online shortly after.

Little Hudson

Hudson is Stacy’s son. I met Stacy through Shalon’s best friend Malisa. She had seen some of my work and really wanted some pictures done of her son so without hesitation, I agreed. They live close to Lakebottom park which has a pretty cool little playground and old school close by. This obviously was the best choice for pictures since Hudson loved playing at the playground. We met up at their house and then walked down to the park. At the park, I got plenty of shots of Hudson playing on the playground, climbing walls, and swinging on the swing set with his daddy’s help.

After a while at the playground, we decided to head back and on the way seized a great opportunity to capture some images by the old school close by. After the school, we headed back to the house and I headed back home with the awesome memories of hanging out with such a great little family.

Check out the images that I got from my time with Hudson.

Tracy and Billy’s Family

Back before Tracy and Billy’s wedding, I met up with Tracy, Billy, and Tracy’s two girls for a family lifestyle session. We met up down by the Coca Cola Space Center close to the riverwalk. The trees were blooming and were just gorgeous. The flowery trees made for some good pictures.

Pictures in the park…

I have been working hard lately on everything but my photography and I’m really wishing that I had the time to do more, but since Shalon’s started back at school, I’ve had the awesome task of taking care Jadon when I get home from work. I absolutely love the fact that I get time to hang out with my son. But in doing so, I neglect my other job as a photographer. The truth, though is that I really don’t mind. My time with my son is so much more important to me.

My work is pretty much caught up now but I need to start working on the business aspect like the website, putting together my new business card design, networking, creating some brochures, etc. Trying to balance life and work … and work is tough but I think that if you have your priorities in order, you life will be blessed. With much sacrifice, comes great reward.

So with that said, here is my most favorite slideshow. This one really puts a smile on my face b/c I absolutely LOVE my family and want to be around them all the time.

I hope you enjoy the slideshow as much as I enjoyed creating it.
