A Beach Wedding…

So I’ve been trying to network a little bit with some other photographers in this area, but I’ve actually had better luck networking online. I was able to meet a wonderfully talented photographer that lives in Gainesville, Florida by the name of Cindy Umpleby. She only works her photography business part time, and she stays pretty busy. Check out her blog when you get a chance. I am blessed to have met some very helpful and skilled photographers, and Cindy has been one of the best. She allowed me to come to St. Augustine to second shoot with her and to snag some of her mad photography skills.

The wedding was for Corey and Chris and took place on the beach. I probably could have dressed down a bit more than the khakis and button up shirt that I wore. Plus the fact that I was just about the only one wearing shoes on the beach. But aside from being drenched in sweat and having to carry a towel with me everywhere, I had a BLAST!

** Corey and Chris; if you ever read this, thank you so much for allowing me to join you guys on your special day. I had a wonderful time.

Here is a slideshow of the images I was able to capture that day.

The Pritchett Family

Tuesday and Bryan asked me to photograph their family and so I accepted. We met at the park of the Flatrock (Flatrock Park for those that live around here.. :) ) and took some shots at different areas around the front entrance. There are rocks everywhere and lots of water flowing making this a really nice scenic area.

Don’t forget to check out this slideshow!!!

Shalon and Jadon’s first Braves game.

Shalon has a friend that had three extra Braves tickets for Saturday night and she offered them to us so, wanting to have a family outing, we humbly accepted. Shalon has never been to an MLB game before and of course neither has Jadon so this was going to be a blast.

The game was ok. The Braves were playing the Reds and our tickets were just behind Left Field. Apparently the tickets were given out to all Aflac employees b/c we were surrounded by folks that worked for the duck.

I was able to snap a really good shot of the left fielder diving and missing a ball off the tip of his glove. It was neat b/c that night as I watched ESPN Sports Center, they replayed that same play and I had another angled shot of it. ha.. The image is below.

Robin and Mark

Today I had the pleasure of shooting Robin and Mark’s engagement photos. We met up downtown in Columbus off of Broadway and walked around both sides of the street capturing images that show just how much these two love each other. You can really feel the love that they have for one another even in a short time of being around them. The images speak for themselves.
