It rarely ever snows in Georgia/Alabama, so can imagine the excitement that filled the air when the weather reports called for snow.  On that same day, I had a commercial shoot with Destiny, that didn’t involve being outside (bummer I know).  But with the snow falling I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to do a shoot in the snow.  So I kindly suggested that we go outside and grab some shots of her in the snow.  She agreed and off we went.  :)

It was a blast shooting with Destiny and the snow made for challenging exposures but I like to think that we were able to pull off some great shots.  Check below for some of my favorites from this shoot.

Lauren had some family in town for the holidays and wanted to get some family pictures together for everyone. We met downtown at the Gates house and walked around the area to capture some images for them. This bunch was so much fun to shoot. They all had me laughing. Nothing like a family of jokesters to keep everyone smiling.

I really good of friend of mine from high school, Wayne, asked me to do some family pictures for him so of course I couldn’t say no.  Wayne and Shanda have an awesome little boy name Ethan and he is all boy.  Loves to play and loves to explore.

For this session, we met up at Callaway Gardens and found a few spots that turned out great for the pictures.  This was my second session there that day so I was able to hang out at Callaway pretty much all day.  And with all the lights setup for Fantasy in Lights, it reminded me so much of when I used to work there during high school.  I went to Harris County High School and it was only about 5 minutes from Callaway so of course when it came time for me to get a job, that would be the place that I wanted to work.

Meet Cary, Caleb and Savannah.  Caleb has been a friend of mine since high school and when he and his wife Cary asked me to take family pictures of them, I jumped at the opportunity.  They have the most adorable little girl, Savannah, and it was so much fun capturing images of her.

We took at trip to Callaway and found a couple of really cool spots to get pictures.  Callaway is about 45 mintues from Columbus but it was well worth the drive.  There are so many cool spots in the gardens to shoot.  I probably could have stayed there all day taking pictures (which I kinda did since I had another session there right after this one; pictures to follow).
